Wedding Makeup & Hair Prep Guide
Before you Hair & Makeup Trial, Trials are typically scheduled 6-12 weeks before the wedding
-Be sure to complete your makeup and/or hair trial questionaire prior to your trial appointment.
- Makeup Trials: Arive with a clean face, moisturizer and SPF are fine.
- Hair Trials: Arrive with clean dry hair to your trial, wash it that morning or the night before. Please blow dry if you have curly hair ( unless you’re wearing it curly).
- Hydration is Key: Staying hydrated is super important to prevent dryness on skin and helps prevent/ease any puffiness.
- Follow you skincare routine with consistency. Feel free to reach out if you’re not sure where to start with your skincare routine.
Before the big day, 12 weeks before
- If you’re planning to spray tan for your wedding, be sure to do a trial session before. I highly recommend following the prep instructions for your tanning session very closely (this goes for your bridesmaids as well).
-Once again, Hydration is Key: Staying hydrated is super important to prevent dryness on skin and helps prevent/ease any puffiness.
-Stay on top of skin care routine and stick to the products you know and love. Don’t experiement with new products the week before your wedding.
-Are you planning on wearing eyelash extensions or getting your eyebrows tined? Again, I highly recommend doing a trial a few months before your wedding to make sure you love them!
- Please do not get a lash lifting if you’re planning on wearing strip lashes for your wedding. Lash lifts make it almost impossible to apply lashes.
One Week before the big day
-Once again, Hydration is Key: Staying hydrated is super important to prevent dryness on skin and helps prevent/ease any puffiness.
-Remind any bridal party members receiving hair services, that they should have clean dry hair for the wedding day. This is super important in order to keep the schedule running smoothly!
-Plan out your sleep schedule for the night before :)
